La mejor época para visitar Namibia es entre mayo y octubre, cuando las condiciones para realizar safaris son óptimas. Entre los meses de invierno, de mayo a julio, las temperaturas diurnas son moderadas, mientras que las noches pueden ser bastante frías, por lo que es recomendable llevar una chaqueta abrigada. La sabana se llena de crías de animales durante los meses de verano, noviembre y diciembre.
