La mejor época para viajar a Madagascar es durante la estación seca, de abril a noviembre, cuando el clima es templado, las carreteras son más accesibles y la observación de la fauna silvestre es excelente. De junio a septiembre es especialmente bueno para avistar ballenas jorobadas en la costa, mientras que octubre y noviembre son los mejores meses para ver crías de lémures en las selvas tropicales.
