Camping lodge situated on the eastern fringes of the Kalahari Desert

Kalahari Anib Lodge is situated on the eastern fringes of Namibia in the Kalahari Desert, 33 km from the city of Mariental. The 55 rooms and 4 self-catering luxury tents are arranged around a courtyard with two swimming pools and a restaurant. Guests will also have access to various walking trails and can partake in guided drives into the Kalahari Desert.

Namibia is best visited between May and October when safari viewing is at its best. Between the winter months of May and July, daytime temperatures are moderate, while nights can get quite cold, so remember to pack a warm jacket. The veld fills with baby animals during the summer months of November and December. This is also an excellent time for birders as many migrant bird species have returned. The rainy season is from November to April, resulting in dramatic thundershowers and even desert flooding.
