Best time to go to Tanzania
For wildlife and safari enthusiasts, the dry season of late June to October is the ideal time to visit Tanzania. During this time, the Great Migration takes place and wildlife is most active, congregating around water sources, which makes them easier to spot. This is also the best time to hike Mt Kilimanjaro, when the skies are clear and the weather is cool and dry. For birders, summertime between November and March is a fantastic time to look out for migratory birds. Tanzania’s beaches are idyllic year-round.
