Best time to go to Etosha National Park South

Best

Acceptable
The best time to visit Etosha National Park South is from June to October when temperatures are cooler and ample wildlife, especially elephants, are drawn to the waterholes. In the rainy season, from November to May, the wildlife disappears into the park’s remote areas. The park is not as busy during this time and permits excellent birding opportunities as it attracts over 300 species. Don’t forget that the gates open at sunrise and close at sunset!
