Perched in the canopy of a pristine natural forest sits a small collection of treetop suites. Located along the Garden Route, Teniqua Treetops self catering suites offer scenic views of dramatic and lush landscapes. With a mindful approach to preserving the environment, each suite is built out of sustainably farmed pine and gum and has been constructed to blend in with the lush forest. The property’s water supply is directly drawn from the nearby Karatara River and is passed through a 10-stage eco-friendly filtration system without the use of harmful chemicals. With over a hundred bird species located in the 27 hectares of the resort, Teniqua Treetops is the ultimate bird lover’s paradise. Guests can enjoy waking up to calls from the African fish eagle and the Knysna turaco during crisp misty mornings. With a number of nature centred activities available in and around the resort days spent at Teniqua Treetops are never dull. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy early morning or afternoon walks within the property’s lush forest and end their days exploring the river trail that winds down to untouched rock pools.
