Best time to go to Strand Hotel Swakopmund
Swakopmund is a rare year-round destination, offering a refreshing escape from the desert heat. For the warmest beach weather and the best chance to see flamingos in their thousands, visit between January and March. If your journey includes a safari in Etosha, the dry winter months from July to September are ideal, providing cool, misty mornings followed by mild, sunny afternoons. While the Atlantic fog is a signature of the coast, it usually clears by midday, revealing blue skies perfect for dune adventures or a stroll along the historic Mole.
