Best time to go to Namibia

Namibia is best visited between May and October when safari viewing is at its best. Between the winter months of May and July, daytime temperatures are moderate, while nights can get quite cold, so remember to pack a warm jacket. The veld fills with baby animals during the summer months of November and December. This is also an excellent time for birders as many migrant bird species have returned. The rainy season is from November to April, resulting in dramatic thundershowers and even desert flooding.

Star Dune suite

The Star Dune Suite is the ideal space for family groups and friends, with two suites connected by a walkway, a lounge and dining area. Other features include star-viewing skylights, music systems, personal bars, solar-powered energy and water recycling systems.

The 10 beautifully appointed suites are spread out along the escarpment, offering absolute privacy and views of the desert. Each suite features a private veranda, bedroom, living room with fireplace, en-suite bathroom, and plunge pool. Additionally, they include star-viewing skylights, music systems, customised personal bars, and solar-powered air-conditioning.
