Best time to go to Namibia

Namibia is best visited between May and October when safari viewing is at its best. Between the winter months of May and July, daytime temperatures are moderate, while nights can get quite cold, so remember to pack a warm jacket. The veld fills with baby animals during the summer months of November and December. This is also an excellent time for birders as many migrant bird species have returned. The rainy season is from November to April, resulting in dramatic thundershowers and even desert flooding.

The 12 campsites are arranged in a semi-circle to afford privacy with views of the surroundings. Each site has its own toilet, washbasin, hot/cold shower, kitchen wash-up facility, light, barbeque and 220V electricity point.
