Best time to go to Greater Kruger
The dry winter season from May to September is the best time for wildlife viewing at Kruger’s private reserves. During this season there are still lots of sunny days and mild temperatures to enjoy. The bush is less dense and animals congregate around waterholes, making them easier to spot. The summer period holds the highest malaria risk, and from October to April, the summer rains bring forth flowing rivers and lush landscapes swarming with birdlife. Plenty of newborn animals arrive, plus prey and predator interaction can also be observed.
The Homestead Villa has 5 bedrooms with king-sized beds or twin beds upon request. Of all the rooms, 2 are en-suite with 1 having a private balcony, while the rest have shared bathrooms. Other features include an open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, a separate TV lounge, and a covered patio with bush views.
