Guests can enjoy their time here with slow walks along the nature trails, take the mountain bikes on an off-road trail, enjoy a picnic or sundowner overlooking Gericke's Point, kayak on the Swartvlei and Sedgefield lagoons, explore the beaches, go snorkelling, or visit the neighbouring protea farm.
Best time to go to Garden Route
The best time to visit this region is in the warmer months of September to April. The Garden Route is rainy throughout the year and is a popular summer destination that can get busy over the Christmas holidays. You will soon understand why, as you feel the warm rays while kloofing, abseiling and paragliding or simply taking a dip in the azure Indian Ocean. The months of June to August are colder but will provide opportunities for whale watching (peaking in September) with more windless days to enjoy.
Fynbos Cottage is a charming 2 bedroom 2 bathroom private stay with spectacular ocean views. The bedrooms each have either king or twin beds, while the loft area has 2 single beds. Other features include an open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, a wraparound deck, a private heated splash pool, private parking, and wifi.
