Intimate safari villa in the heart of the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve
Evenings at Amani are spent socialising around the fire and marvelling at the starry sky whilst animal calls echo through the darkness. Daytime (and nighttime) calls for guided game drives where guests will experience the wild nature of the bush firsthand. The property’s surrounding gardens offer a tranquil oasis and shade from the summer sun. A double volume sitting room, mezzanine library area, interactive kitchen and bar provide generous space to relax. Guests can spend their days lazing at the infinity pool, terrace, alfresco bar, or campfire, which all overlook a flood-lit waterhole.

The best time to spot wildlife in the Greater Kruger Region is during the dry season, which typically falls between May and September. This wintertime season offers the best opportunity to spot the wildlife as the animals are drawn to the waterholes and other sources of water and the vegetation is less dense. During this time, the days are warm and the nights are cooler. The summer months have more rainfall and the green landscapes provide a stunning backdrop for photos. Plenty of young animals and their predators are present and bird watching is particularly enjoyable.
