Ruzizi Tented Lodge is a dazzling stay situated on the tranquil shores of Lake Ihema. A private escape, its tents are placed among lush palms and fig trees. Guests can enjoy a dining area and wooden walkways that lead to a deck with a central fire pit overlooking the lake. The lodge was designed to be in harmony with the environment while allowing guests to experience its beauty. During the building process, trees and plants were kept intact where possible. Natural features have been included in the design, while many of the decorations and furniture were made by local artisans and co-operatives. The lodge is also solar-powered and committed to environmental sustainability.

2The Tree-top Tent offers a queen bed or twin beds upon request. This superior tent contains an en-suite bathroom with running hot and cold water and a dressing area. The tent also features a shaded veranda with chairs and a table fashioned from a tree trunk.
