Camping at Namushasha River Lodge is a real unspoilt Namibian experience. Situated high on the banks of the Kwando River, overlooking a tranquil hippo pool with over 300 recorded bird species, 16 total campsites are sprawled out beneath shady trees. You can utilise the main lodge’s restaurant, bar and swimming pool. Game drives and boat cruises are also popular activities for visitors.

The Bwabwata National Park has a sub-tropical climate, contributing to hot and humid summers. The best time for game viewing is from April to September, when the weather is also the most pleasant. Between November and March is the wet season, where heavy rainfall is frequent. The average rainfall is 550–600 mm per year, which makes it the wettest region in Namibia!
