Mavela Game Lodge offers tented accommodation with a safari flair and all-inclusive luxury set in the Big 5 rich Manyoni Private Game Reserve. The lodge is run by a family of bird lovers with a commitment to wildlife conservation and as a result, Mavela guides offer a specialised birding safari. Guests can further appreciate the African bushveld through walking safaris, game drives and night drives or by visiting the main lodge’s large wooden veranda that overlooks a watering hole. The Manyoni Game Reserve is also a sanctuary for endangered species like the cheetah, wild dog, black rhino, and pangolin. The entire camp is unfenced for an immersive experience and so, guests are escorted back to their rooms after dinner.
