Located in the southern section of Akagera National Park in Rwanda, Mantis Akagera Game Lodge is a luxury safari lodge offering exciting Big 5 sightings along with bountiful other wildlife, including the rare sitatunga antelope. Mantis Akagera Game Lodge overlooks the vast savannah that surrounds the lodge and the glistening Lake Ihema. Guests can explore this wildlife-rich park on game drives or go bird watching to spot one of the many special species that are found in the area. The lodge makes use of plenty of sustainable practices — from the use of indigenous vegetation in its landscaping, to sourcing local services, using an on-site garden for seasonal cuisine at the Inzovu restaurant, as well as the use of solar-powered water cylinders.
