Best time to go to Akagera National Park
The climate in Akagera National Park is tropical and humid. The best time to visit Akagera National Park is during 1 of the 2 the dry seasons, the first is from June to September and the second from December to February. This is when the animals are most active and the weather is the most pleasant. The wet seasons run from October to November and March to May, and this is when the park is at its most lush, though the rainfall can make it difficult to access certain parts of the park.
The camp offers 6 luxury tents, each with a private terrace overlooking Lake Rwanyakazinga. Each tent is adorned with locally sourced decor and fitted with either a double or 2 twin beds and en-suite bathrooms, allowing guests to enjoy the utmost in comfort and experience a true African safari getaway.
