Just off Cape Town’s busy Kloof Street in a renovated 19th-century farm building is the tranquil boutique guesthouse, La Grenadine. With its 6 bedrooms set around the courtyard garden, shaded by old pomegranate trees, the intimate setting is complemented by the distinct French Provencal styling. Each room is uniquely decorated with a combination of vintage and modern furnishings, including unique pieces from local designers. Wherever possible, the guesthouse is environmentally-friendly, with low-usage plumbing, and efficient heating and solar panels to keep energy consumption as low as possible.
