Kramersdorf Guesthouse offers the perfect accommodation for your stay in Swakopmund. Named after one of Swakopmund’s oldest suburbs which is situated just east of the centre of town. The suburb is popular with the locals because it has more sunshine than the suburbs located closer to the ocean which tends to be quite misty.
You can reach the centre of town in 15 minutes on foot and in 5 additional minutes, you are at the beach. You will find an abundance of shops and restaurants along the way.
If you wish, we also offer a shuttle service to town and the more distant suburbs, in case you don’t have your own transport.

Namibia is best visited between May and October when safari viewing is at its best. Between the winter months of May and July, daytime temperatures are moderate, while nights can get quite cold, so remember to pack a warm jacket. The veld fills with baby animals during the summer months of November and December. This is also an excellent time for birders as many migrant bird species have returned. The rainy season is from November to April, resulting in dramatic thundershowers and even desert flooding.
