Swakopmund is a quaint little town on the central coast of Namibia. It is well known for its historic German architecture. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Namib Desert Swakopmund has a uniquely mild coastal climate throughout the year. A wide variety of tourist attractions make Swakopmund one of Namibia's most popular destinations. It is a ‘must see’ on every Namibia-Tour-Itinerary. Kramersdorf Guesthouse offers the perfect accommodation for your stay in Swakopmund. Named after one of Swakopmund’s oldest suburbs which is situated just east of the centre of town. The suburb is popular with the locals because it has more sunshine than the suburbs located closer to the ocean which tends to be quite misty. You can reach the centre of town in 15 minutes on foot and in 5 additional minutes, you are at the beach. You will find an abundance of shops and restaurants along the way. If you wish, we also offer a shuttle service to town and the more distant suburbs, in case you don’t have your own transport.
