Experience a mix of the Okavango Delta and Kalahari at this intimate camp
Chitabe Lediba Camp is a luxury safari camp located in the Okavango Delta of Botswana. This diverse mix of the Okavango Delta and Kalahari has year-round water and draws in plenty of animals, ranging from large herbivores to mighty predators. Guests can enjoy day and night game drives, bush walks and a dining experience under the stars. Chitabe Lediba supports the Wild Entrust Africa who work towards protecting and conserving predators, including big cats and African wild dogs, in the Delta and other parts of Botswana. The camp also has various community upliftment schemes to benefit local staff through education and profit-share contributions.
Best time to go to Botswana
Botswana's climate ranges from arid to semi-arid and is marked by hot and rainy summers, usually between November and March. This ‘green’ season is the best time to spot migrating birds, predators, and baby animals. However, many lodges in the Okavango Delta close during these months, so do check before you book. The dry season, between April and October, is the prime time to spot animals as they frequent water sources. This is also when the Delta floods, making it a great time for water-based activities. These months are a fantastic time to visit the salt pans, which will be dry from about June to September.
Single/ Double Tents
Each luxury tent is accessible by low-impact walkways that wind through the Delta bush. Each tent features a private deck with breathtaking views of the surroundings and includes either a fitted double bed or 2 twin beds. The tents also feature en-suite bathrooms and a luxurious outdoor shower.
The Family Units are made up of 2 adjoining luxury tents overlooking the beautiful Delta bush. Each tent features 2 three-quarter beds and en-suite bathrooms, as well as private balconies perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee as game wander right up to the tent.
