Gugs (8 rooms) and Ubunye (4 rooms) are nestled in amongst gnarled waterberries and verdant wild date palms on an ancient dune ridge with views towards the coastal forest and Indian Ocean. Activities naturally focus on the nearby beach with snorkelling and seasonal turtle drives/walks and also engagement with the local Mpukane community and exposure to their Thonga and Zulu heritage. These two camps are inclusive of all meals (vegetarian & pescatarian), selected non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks and selected activities. Research Camp (4 rooms), accommodating a maximum of 8 guests is booked on a sole use, self-catered basis and guests are required to have 4x4 vehicles. No activities are included for guests staying at Research Camp.
