Sibuya Game Reserve

About the area

Sibuya Game Reserve is a stunning 3.000 ha of malaria-free beach and bush where a variety of wildlife, including the Big 5 and the rare oribi and bontebok, roam between subtropical vegetation and open grasslands. This reserve spanning the Kariega Estuary is accessible exclusively by boat. Leaving dolphins and turtles in your wake, you’ll cruise past African fish eagles and other wildlife gathering on the riverbanks. Set in an indigenous forest, the accommodation is built in an eco-conscious manner and includes camps that run almost exclusively on solar power. Winners of the Lilizela Tourism Award, Sibuya radiates passion and dedication while combating poaching through the Sibuya Rhino Foundation.
