About the area

Mudumu National Park is a 737 km2 park east of Bwabwata National Park, centred on the Mudumu Mulapo fossil river course, and bordered to the west by the Kwando River. Mudumu is a paradise of mopane woodlands and dense savannahs and home to a wide range of wildlife species. This is also a fantastic place to bird watch, as many beautiful and rare birds can be found in this area.


Go for a game drive, looking out for sitatungas, red lechwes, elephants and buffalos.
Take a boat cruise, getting up close and personal with some hippos and crocs.
Keep your eyes peeled for the rare Wattled Crane and Lesser Jacana.
Toast the sun on a sundowner cruise.
