The best time to visit South Zanzibar is during the dry seasons from June to October and December to February, when the beaches are at their best, the seas are calm for marine safaris, and visibility is excellent for snorkelling. These months are also ideal for kayaking in Zanzibar lagoons and enjoying sandbank picnics under clear skies.
