The best time to visit Ol Kinyei Conservancy depends on what you seek. The dry seasons from June to October and December to March offer ideal conditions for private safaris, walking adventures, and excellent big cat sightings as animals gather near water sources. From July to October, travellers can also witness parts of the Great Migration spilling into the conservancy, making it an exciting time for photographic safaris. The green season (April–May and November) transforms the plains into a lush paradise, perfect for birding and vibrant landscape photography, though some areas may become muddy.
