Although Mossel Bay is a fantastic and sunny year-round destination, the best overall time to visit is anytime between October and March. Locals flock to the town for the summer holidays around Christmas and New Year. For the water babies, a dip in the sea is probably best in January and February, when ocean temperatures are warmest, while July and August have the coldest temperatures.
