Best time to go to Moshi
The best time to travel to Moshi is during the dry seasons, from January to mid-March and June to October. Clear skies in these months offer the best views of Mount Kilimanjaro, ideal trekking conditions, and easier access to nearby attractions like Materuni Waterfalls and Chemka Hot Springs. The dry months are also perfect for combining a Moshi stay with safaris in Arusha National Park or Tarangire National Park. The short rains in November and December bring lush scenery and fewer crowds, making it another good option for travellers who don’t mind a little rain.
