Best time to go to Maputaland
The dry winter months from May to September bring warm, sunny days and cooler nights—ideal for game viewing, turtle tracking (late in the season), and exploring without the heavy summer humidity. For turtle nesting, visit between November and February, when both leatherbacks and loggerheads come ashore to lay eggs.
