Best time to go to Lake Nakuru
The best time to visit Lake Nakuru is during the dry seasons from June to October and December to March, when the skies are clear and animals gather at the shoreline for water. These months offer ideal conditions for game drives, flamingo viewing, and rhino sightings, with roads in excellent condition for exploring the park. The green season (April–May and November) brings lush landscapes, blooming acacias, and spectacular light—perfect for photography and birdwatching. Flamingo numbers often fluctuate depending on water levels, so every visit brings a slightly different experience.
