A vast and beautiful soda lake boasting abundant birdlife and home to the Hadzabe people
Settled along the Great Rift Valley, Lake Eyasi is a vast soda lake in the north of Tanzania. This place is home to an ancient tribe of people named the Hadzabe, whose traditions and way of life have remained intact for hundreds of years. The lake boasts plenty of birdlife, including flamingoes, African spoonbills, pelicans, storks, pied avocet, Fischer’s lovebird and many more, along with a decent population of hippos.
