Best time to go to Kalama Conservancy
The best time to visit Kalama Conservancy is during the dry seasons from June to October and December to March, when wildlife is easiest to spot and conditions are perfect for walking safaris, birding, and night drives. The cooler mornings and evenings bring incredible light for photography, especially from Kalama’s elevated sunrise viewpoints. During the green season (April–May and November), the conservancy transforms into a lush landscape dotted with wildflowers, and fewer visitors mean a more private safari experience. Temperatures remain warm year-round, with clear skies and gentle breezes common in the evenings.
