With a sub-tropical climate KwaZulu-Natal has hot, humid summers and cooler, dry winters. For travellers from the Northern Hemisphere be advised that in South Africa the seasons are reversed with July being right in the middle of winter. So, the best time to visit is from April to September, where temperatures are moderate and skies are often clear and sunny. Regardless, you’ll always be guaranteed warmth.
